Nothing would be sent without your approval: every draft waits for you to review and approve it.

What it would do

Invoice Chaser is a Hirely agent being developed for trades and home-service owners who finish the work and then spend weeks waiting to be paid. Chasing money is awkward, so reminders get postponed, and a small balance quietly becomes a cash-flow problem.

You would share the invoice number, the amount due, the due date and the job it covers. The agent would prepare polite, scheduled reminders that stay courteous and factual, each restating what was completed and the balance. Each reminder would include your own payment link; it would never ask for card or bank details.

It would draft at most 5 reminders per invoice, spaced at least 3 days apart, then it would stop and hand the invoice back to you. Every reminder would go out in your business's own name, never Hirely's or a third-party agency's name. Each reminder would include a way to ask a question or opt out. If a customer disputes the bill, says they already paid, or asks to stop, reminders for that invoice would pause and the thread would come to you.

It would work by email and drafts only; it would not text or call anyone.

How it could fit your week

A realistic example: you completed a fence installation three weeks ago and the invoice is now ten days past due. The first draft would be a light check-in, assuming the bill simply slipped through the cracks. A later draft would restate the completed work, the balance and the due date in plain terms, keeping the same neutral tone.

Owners often say the hardest part of chasing payment is the emotional effort, not the mechanics. Having the wording ready would lower that barrier. Anything beyond a reminder, such as payment plans or disagreements about the work, would stay with you.

You could also mark certain customers, such as a longtime client with a standing arrangement, so that no reminder drafts are prepared for their invoices at all unless you change that setting later.
